Logo Problems (Mac vs Windows)

My logo doesn't show correctly!

The Macintosh version of Goldenseal accounting software uses PICT format for your logo and other graphics. PICT supports both bit-map (PhotoShop) images and vector (Illustrator) images.

The Windows version of Goldenseal uses any graphics format supported by QuickTIme, which includes PICT, .jpeg, .gif and other formats.

Cross-Platform Graphics

If you use both Mac and Windows machines, create your graphic images on the Mac. The PICT images can be used on both the Mac and Windows versions.

Macintosh Graphics

If you use only Macintosh, you may not be able to paste some graphic images into Goldenseal directly. To translate them into a format that Goldenseal can accept,, follow these steps:

  1. Copy the image in your graphics program.
  2. Open QuickTime PictureViewer.
  3. Open any image file, then choose Paste from the Edit menu.
  4. Choose Copy from the Edit menu to re-select the graphic in QuickTime format.
  5. Open Goldenseal.
  6. Choose Company Info from the File menu.
