Assembly Changes

If I change prices in a Cost Item or Assembly, does it update my estimates?

NO!

There is an important reason why Goldenseal construction estimating software won't change prices in existing Estimates, when you change prices in a Cost Item or Assembly that is included in that Estimate.

Goldenseal doesn't know whether you have already printed the Estimate, and given it to a client. In that case, changing prices would be a disaster!

If you want Goldenseal to fill in the latest prices in an Estimate, click the Update Prices button. That will check each Cost Item and Assembly that is included in the cost breakdown, and fill in the latest prices.
