Goldenseal and FileMaker |
Does Goldenseal run on FileMaker? No, Goldenseal small business software does not require FileMaker. Goldenseal is a stand-alone program that uses its own "object" database and its own file format. If you have used FileMaker, you'll probably find many similar features in Goldenseal (we did that so it will be easier to switch, and because it's a darn good interface). Like Filemaker, Goldenseal also started out as Macintosh software, so it's more likely to be "friendly" and easy to use. If you already have data in FileMaker, you can import it into Goldenseal. You can also export data from Goldenseal and then use it in other computer software programs-- including FileMaker, word processors, spreadsheets and other database programs.
