Can I give a copy of Goldenseal accounting software to my accountant, so they can work on my file?

Yes, your Goldenseal license allows you to give a copy of the Goldenseal accounting software program to your accountant, so they can look at or work on your company file.

How to Give them a Copy of Goldenseal

If you both use Macintosh or you both use Windows, then you can simply loan them a copy of your program CD so they can install it onto their computer. They can also download the software from our update download system. Or, you can move the Goldenseal program from one computer to the other on a flash disk, CD or other medium.

HINT-- The Goldenseal program icon is a picture of a tree!

If you use our Macintosh accounting software and your accountant uses Windows (or vice-versa), then you'll either need to get a second platform license, or use the demo version (which allows full access to data, but may not let the accountant add any new data).

How to Give them your File

You can send your company file to your accountant as an e-mail attachment, burn it on a CD, or put it on a flash disk or other portable medium.

If you have the multi-user version of Goldenseal, you can also set up a VPN so your accountant can have access to your company file over the Internet.
