Zero Labor Cost |
Problem zero in 'total cost' column of labor log Diagnosis Even though they enter hours, it shows a total cost of zero when using MacNail construction accounting software to enter employee hours Solution Generally the problem is that burden in the Master Index is blank or zero. Have them enter burden
(either 1 if not doing payroll, 1.000001 if doing payroll but not figuring burden, or 1+FICA+FUTA+SUTA+COMP+BENNIES
if figuring burden) if it's not there. Check the 'burden calculator' in BidMagic Basic Costs for more details on what burden includes. NOTE-- Goldenseal construction payroll software is much more straightforward in its calculations, and this kind of problem is not likely to occur there. Comments Entered 9/8/94 by Dennis.
