Stuck in Unit Prices Editor

Problem

user is "stuck" in unit prices editor. Save & Return, Cancel btns won't work or give error; they can quit, but when reopen bid they're back where they started.

Diagnosis

how it comes about: ???

This user triggered it by opening another bid while editing unit prices, then opening the material manager, then going back to the original bid and opening assemblies and doing more price editing stuff (!). In theory BidMagic Construction Estimating Software should be able to handle this but apparently it can't.

Solution

use the navigate menu to go somewhere else in the bid-dimensions, say, or specs, or wherever. Then they'll get a dialog which asks them whether they want to save changes, and they can hit whichever of the btns (cancel/save/dont save) they want to get out of it (or whichever gives them no trouble).

NOTE-- We retired BidMagic estimating software back in 2002, and replaced with Goldenseal-- which is integrated estimating software and project management software (plus optional accounting software).
