Problem not enough memory error message in BidMagic construction
estimating software Diagnosis gives this message when you start up: " Warning: BidMagic estimating software requires at least two megabytes (2000K) of free disk space to run properly. Currently you have only xxx K available" message Solution need to clear some things off the hard drive! BidMagic requires some extra space while it's running, so we check for enough extra space. It's a good idea to keep 10% of hard disk empty anyhow-- reduces "thrashing" and file fragmentation. Comments Entered 8/25/94 by Dennis. Updated 10/21/2010. NOTE-- We retired BidMagic estimating software back in 2002, and replaced with Goldenseal-- which is integrated estimating software and project management software (plus optional accounting software).
