Problem problems printing on PowerMac in BidMagic Construction
Estimating Software Diagnosis HyperCard is not compatible with the Modern Memory Manager. The usual symptoms are printouts with large bodies of missing text- not only in BM, but XL4 also. Solution They should turn OFF MMM before using BM estimating software (it's in the Memory control panel, most likely. Comments Also: BidMagic Construction Estimating Software is not compatible with QuickDraw GX. They will have to turn GX off (probably by removing the extension) in order to print reports. This will be fixed whenever HyperCard goes native, sometime in 95 probably, but no guarantees. Entered 9/2/94 by Vinay. Updated 10/20/2010. NOTE-- We retired BidMagic estimating software back in 2002, and replaced with Goldenseal-- which is integrated estimating software and project management software (plus optional accounting software).
