BidMagic 1.5-- New Menu Commands

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimation software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimation software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

Edit Menu—Material Prices

New to version 1.5 of the BidMagic construction estimation software. If you have the Material Takeoff Module, this command lets you update material prices. If you don’t have the Material Takeoff Module, it will be grayed out.

Data Menu—Export Material Takeoff

New to version 1.5 of the BidMagic construction estimating software. If you have the Material Takeoff Module, this command lets you create a text file containing material takeoff information for the current bid. If you don’t have the Material Takeoff Module, it will be grayed out.

Data Menu—Export Material Prices

New to version 1.5 of the BidMagic construction estimating software. If you have the Material Takeoff Module, this command lets you update all unit prices in Specifications, based on the price information you have entered into the Material Manager. If you don’t have the Material Takeoff Module, it will be grayed out.
