Customizing Estimating Subcategories

The BidMagic construction estimating software makes it easy for you to modify the subcategory groups that are listed on each Specifications card.

Adding Pop-up Buttons

To add more pop-up buttons to a subcategory, follow these steps:

1. Choose Add Button from the Edit menu.
2. Select a subcategory from the list, then click OK. A new button will be added automatically.

NOTE: If there is insufficient room for the new button, it will not be added. You may need to delete buttons from another subcategory or move another subcategory to make room.

Deleting Pop-up Buttons

To remove pop-up buttons from a subcategory, follow these steps:

1. Choose Delete Button from the Edit menu.
2. Select a subcategory from the list, then click OK. The last button in the selected subcategory will be deleted.

NOTE: BidMagic will not allow you to delete a button if it is the only one in its subcategory.
