Macro Basics |
NOTE-- In 2000 we retired MacNail, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction project management software. Like MacNail, it is designed for builders, remodelers and other small businesses. Goldenseal is a complete small business solution that handles accounting, estimating, and construction project management, plus simple project scheduling. You don't need Excel to run Goldenseal, and it has a much simpler interface since it's not built on top of a spreadsheet program. Using Option-Command keys Many of the MacNail commands have keyboard shortcuts. They are listed at the end of the explanation for each menu command in the MacNail construction project management software. All MacNail keyboard shortcuts work in both upper and lower case forms. Option-command-[letter] and shift-option-command-[letter] will have the same results. To use a keyboard shortcut in the MacNail project management software: 1. Hold down the option and command keys. Sometimes the command key is
labelled with an apple, or a cloverleaf. Using Multiple Macros Upon opening, each MacNail Manager will close any other Managers that are already open. This prevents conflicts with menu items and option-command codes. If you are using non-MacNail macros, close them first before opening any of the MacNail Managers. There may be conflicts, otherwise. |
