Schedule Links Folder

NOTE-- The MacNail construction software program is now retired-- we replaced it with Goldenseal construction software in 2000. Goldenseal is an integrated program that handles simple construction project scheduling, plus accounting, construction estimating, and project management. Goldenseal does not require the Excel spreadsheet program, which makes it much simpler to use.

Project Schedule Links Folder

In addition to the Schedules folder, the MacNail Scheduling disk also includes a Schedule Links folder. This folder contains one file named MacNail Project Blank. It is a MacProject document that sets up a "generic" construction project for use in that program.

If you don't plan to link MacNail Scheduling to MacProject, you can safely ignore the contents of the Schedule Links folder. All of the other features of MacNail Scheduling will still be available to you.

If you do plan to link MacNail Scheduling to MacProject or MacSchedule, the Schedule Links folder should go somewhere on your hard disk. It doesn't matter where you put it-- the MacNail construction scheduling software does not need to know the location of this file.

You will be opening the contents of the Schedule Links folder with MacProject or MacSchedule, later on (see page 104).
