Linked Scheduling Worksheets

NOTE-- In 2000 we retired MacNail construction software, and replaced it with an improved program: Goldenseal software for construction. Our computer software programs are developed for builders, remodelers and other small business. Goldenseal is an integrated program that handles accounting, construction estimating, and project management, plus simple construction scheduling. It stores all company data in a single file, so there is no need to fuss with multiple files, while using the Goldenseal software for project scheduling.

Linked Files for Project Scheduling

The Master Reminder List is "linked" to the Master Index in the MacNail project management software. When using linked worksheets, keep these points in mind:

* Open the Master Index before opening the Master Reminder List. The MacNail menu commands will always open the files in the correct order.
* If you do accidentally open Master Reminder List when the Master Index is not already open, you will be asked whether to "update links to non-resident worksheets". For best results, click Cancel, then open the Master Index.
* Never change the name of the Master Index.
