NOTE-- We retired the MacNail estimating program in 2000, and replaced it with Goldenseal construction estimating software. There are still a significant number of die-hard MacNail users, so we keep the manuals online for them! Goldenseal is an integrated program that also includes accounting, scheduling and contract writing. You can customize any data entry forms, printed forms or reports in Goldenseal.

Custom Estimator Worksheets

The Customizing module of the MacNail construction management software uses various kinds of Excel worksheets in its normal course of operation.

It customizes estimating worksheets, it uses several different worksheets to create new estimators, and it uses a whole 'family' of worksheets to update material unit prices.
