Accounting Query Formulas |

Query Formulas Keyboard shortcut: option-command-V. Choose *Query Formulas to change the database formulas in the Query Box (see pages 32 and 94). NOTE-- Goldenseal construction accounting software replaced MacNail in 2000. It's an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. Goldenseal doesn't need many of these commands, since it is not based on Excel. If there are no database formulas in the Query box, this command
will add them. Use *Query Formulas when you look up information using the Query Box in the MacNail construction accounting software. Query formulas are very slow to recalculate. For the fastest data entry, use *Query Formulas to remove the formulas when you have finished using the Query Box. NOTE: If the Query formulas are removed, the Query area will not work. Running time: 3 seconds/8 seconds. *Fix incorrect entry Choose *Fix incorrect entry if you make a mistake in an item that has already been posted to the Cost Control or P &L worksheets. A second line will be added that is the negative of the incorrect entry. When this is posted to the Cost Control or P&L worksheets, it will eliminate the erroneous entry. A third blank line will also be added in the Cost Control, for you to type in the correct information. Running time: 5 seconds/15 seconds. |
