Labor Costs

We figure that a skilled carpenter will take about 2 1/2 hours to cut and install a set of stringers.

Material Costs

3 pieces of 2x12 lumber 16 ft long.

NOTE-- The labor and material unit costs are based on stairs for an 8 foot ceiling. Goldenseal adjusts both values by the ceiling height multiplier, so the cost will be higher for taller ceilings and longer stairways.
