How can I see what I'm printing before I print?

Goldenseal accounting software does not have a Print Preview command, but modern operating systems provide that feature automatically.

If you are printing a report or data entry window, Goldenseal will print what you see on the screen, so it's only Printed Forms that are difficult to see in advance.

If you use Macintosh, you can click the Print Preview button in the print dialog for your printer. Another option is to print to .pdf format, and view the output on the screen using the Preview program, or Adobe Reader.

If you use Windows, choose a PDF writer in the dialog where you choose a printer, then view the file with Adobe Reader or some other program that views PDF files.
