Bank Reconcile Improvements

What improvements do we plan for reconciling bank accounts?

We converted the Reconcile command to a much more useful 'action dialog' in Goldenseal accounting software version 3.7. This link explains the new method of reconciling from bank statements.

One additional improvement we still can add is importing data from bank statements. We can't create banking transactions from the transaction history from your bank, since it does not have sufficient job costing information. However, we can probably use it to mark existing transactions as cleared, to making reconciling a bit faster.

Before we do that, we really need some sample downloads of bank statements from users. That will allow us to set up a translator interface that can work with available formats. Please contact us if you can provide samples.
