Client Sign-On Blocked

When I sign on as a client, it hangs up right after I connect.

This problem usually happens when the firewall is blocking the connection, either on the client or the server machine.

If the computer asks you whether to block Goldenseal's internet connection, always unblock it. You may also need to close and then re-open Goldenseal accounting software, to make sure it has full access to your network.

Some firewalls will block new versions of Goldenseal when you do an update, so you may need to unblock and then restart Goldenseal after the installation. Click here for more info on firewall settings.
