Goldenseal File Size |
How big will my Goldenseal file get? Most Goldenseal accounts and transaction records take up about 300 to 700 bytes of disk space. That means approximately 2,000 records will fit into one megabyte of hard drive space. In practical terms, an average-sized small business will probably fill up 1 to 5 megabytes of disk space per year. That is not likely to bother your hard drive, which probably holds many gigabytes (1,000 megabytes). Goldenseal accounting software can handle file sizes of up to 2 gigabytes (2,000 megabytes), so you probably don't need to worry about running out of file space anytime soon! NOTE-- We are planning to increase the file size limit in a future update. Click here to return to business file topics.
