Class Location Comfort Inn UNCC 704 598-0007 Directions From Airport-- Take Birmingham Parkway to US 521 North to I-85. Take I-85 north to exit 41, Go left across bridge, then turn left at Shoney's, hotel on right. From Charlotte and South-- Take I-77 north, then I-85 north to exit 41. Go left across bridge, then turn left at Shoney's, hotel on right. From Asheville and West-- Take I-85 north to exit 41, Go left across bridge, then turn left at Shoney's, hotel on right. From due North-- Take I-77 south, then I-85 north to exit 41. Go left across bridge, then turn left at Shoney's, hotel on right. From Winston-Salem, Greensboro and East-- Take I-85 south to exit 41. Turn right, then left at Shoney's. From California-- Ride hot-air balloon over Sierra Nevada and Rocky mountains, past Great Plains, Mississippi River and Appalachian mountains to Piedmont area. Land in Lake Norman (the big lake 200 miles west of Atlantic Ocean). Float down Catawba River to intersection with I-85. Hitch-hike to point midway between exits 40 and 41.
