Problem
can't transfer to Spec
Writer using Mcn menu- getting "folder not found" or "can't
find spec manager!" message (from any macn module)
Diagnosis
(comments apply to any MacNail module). They have
an older manager which does not recognize the MacNail construction
specifications software folder.
Solution
To fix:
1. with mgr in front, Goto trans.to.spec (start.specs in MacNail manager)
2. move down one line. It will look something like:
=transfer.check("SpecWriter","::SpecWriter")
the first arg should be "spec", the 2nd should be "Spec Writer" with space, to work correctly.
(NOTE: in Estimating manager only, the first argument should be "Spec Manager".)
3. Goto A1, and save changes. Transfer should work fine now. If you're not sure of the exact command syntax,
check trans.to.spec in the latest mgrs.
