Screen is Frozen

Problem

The screen is frozen / locked while using MacNail construction software

Diagnosis

is macro menu darkened?

• if so, macro may be in an endless loop (if >15 min?). Hit command-period to stop.
• if not--probably a system hang (bug in Mac System, or Excel, bad INIT, etc). Restart and try again

Solution

they can hit command-period to get out of bad macro. Write down macro address location so we can debug

Comments

a few macros take fairly long. If MacNail 2.2 or earlier, they don’t give much in the way of progress messages
