Finish Dimensions

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

From the Miscellaneous Dimensions card, click the Right Arrow to get to the Finish Dimensions card.

HINT: You can also choose Dimensions from the Navigate menu, then click the Finish button. For still another way to get to this card, click on the Compass button and choose Dimensions, then choose Finish from the submenu.

Use the Finish Dimensions card to set quantities for wallboard, siding, paint and insulation.
Most of the numbers in the Finish Dimensions card can be left locked. In that case they'll be computed for you, based on the numbers in the previous Dimensions cards

HINT: The computed quantity will nearly always be correct--but if there are special conditions that cause them to be different from the calculated amount, you can always unlock the item and enter your own quantity.
