Estimating Menu Commands

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction estimating software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

Scroll

Choose Scroll to resize the BidMagic window, or to move around in the window if you have made it smaller than full size.

HINT: This command is most useful if you have a small screen or your screen is very crowded with other programs, and you'd like to shrink the amount of space taken up by the BidMagic window.

When you choose Scroll, a small Scroll window will be displayed.
* Click and drag the lower left corner in the Scroll window to resize the main BidMagic window.
* If the window is smaller than full size, click on the small interior square in the Scroll window, and use the 'grabber hand' to see different parts of the window.

Add Button

Choose Add Button to add an extra pop-up button to a subcategory in Specifications (see page 277).

Delete Button

Choose Delete Button to delete a pop-up button from a subcategory in Specifications (see page 277).

Move Subcategory

Choose Move Subcategory to move a subcategory in Specifications to a different location (see page 278).
