NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic construction estimating
software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal construction
estimating software.
We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual
as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.
The BidMagic construction estimating software lets you
remove any unit costs that don't apply to your business..
To remove a unit price that you don't need, follow
these steps:
Go to the Unit Price Editor (steps 1 and 2 above).
Click on the name of the item you would
like to delete, in the list at left.
Click the Delete Item button. When you are asked if you are sure
you want to delete the item, click Delete. HINT: Hold down the Option key when
you choose Delete, if you don't want to be asked before deleting the item.
After deleting as many items as you'd like
to remove, click Save and Return. HINT: Before deleting unit prices, you may want
to use the Export Unit Prices command to save a copy of all your unit prices (see page
398).
