NOTE-- In 2000, we replaced MacNail with Goldenseal construction accounting software. Goldenseal is an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. It also allows you to sort your accounting records into any order. We still include these instructions on our website, for die-hard users of our original MacNail Accounting software. Changes to Sort Special In version 3.3 of the MacNail Accounting software, we changed the Sort Special command so it only sorts one column at a time (except when doing a tax sort). This will allow you to set up more complex arrangements by doing more than one sort. For example, to group
your Labor Log so it shows all work for each job grouped together, and then lists the work
for each job in order of category: Sort Special will also now work on extractions that you've made with the Extract Special command. |
