Fixing Non-posted items

If an item shows an error messages in the MacNail construction accounting software, you can repair it with the following procedure:

1. If the error is *missing file and there is no Job Cost Control sheet with the listed job name, create one by using *New Job Cost Sheet.
2. For other errors, type the correct information into the erroneous row of the Ledger or Logbook.
NOTE: If the error is *no job name, you may have to use *Lookup Formulas from the Accounting Manager to restore the actual project name.
3. Click on the p&l column for the erroneous row, and use the Backspace or Delete key.
NOTE: If the worksheet is protected, you may have to first choose Unprotect Document from the OPTIONS menu.

Do not change the p&l column except when removing error messages! It can cause serious errors in your job costing.
