Updating Payroll Tax Tables

All federal and state tax computations are handled in a small worksheet that is part of the Payroll blank worksheet. This part of the the MacNail construction payroll software calculates payroll tax tables, after subtracting any deductions and exemptions that apply to the employee.

NOTE-- Our newer Goldenseal construction payroll software is much easier to use! You can download tax tables each year from our website, for free!

In future years (unless the method of computing withholding rates changes drastically), you should be able to update withholding rates by typing new numbers into this part of the worksheet.

Use the federal Employer's Tax Guide and similar state publications to adjust the formulas in the MacNail payroll software, if needed.
