State Payroll Blanks |
Using State Payroll Blanks The MacNail accounting software comes with a Payroll Blank file which computes Federal withholding and employer taxes for your employees each pay period. MacNail also supports state Payroll Blanks, which include the rates and formulas for state withholding, along with any state employer taxes. Payroll blanks for New York and California are currently included with MacNail. Blanks for other states (plus Canada, New York City and the District of Columbia) are available for an additional charge. NOTE-- In 2000, MacNail was replaced by Goldenseal construction payroll software. Goldenseal is an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. Goldenseal imports state payroll info from a free website download, and stores it in Tax Items and Tax Tables. You'll use your state's Payroll Blank file when you make Payroll Reports. It will automatically calculate Federal and State withholding and employer taxes. To start
