Using Macintosh & Windows |
Using the Macintosh This manual assumes that you already
have some experience with the Macintosh computer. If you are completely new to the Mac, we suggest that you practice first with instructional aids like the Macintosh Guided Tour that comes with your computer. NOTE-- In 2000, MacNail was replaced by Goldenseal construction accounting software. Goldenseal is an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. This new software program is also available for both Macintosh and Windows. See also page 6 for information about User's Groups and other ways of getting help with MacNail and the Macintosh computer. Using Windows This manual assumes that you already have some experience with the DOS computer and Windows. You should know-- If you are completely new to the computer, we suggest that you practice first with an experienced person at your side. Note: Your screen may look sightly different than the pictures in this manual, depending on your computer and the version of Windows that you use. Note:
MacNail is also available for the Macintosh computer, and it was originally programmed for the Mac. |
