Window Glass Replacement Cost |
Construction Item Description Construction estimating unit cost for repairing a broken window Unit Size One window. Labor Costs We figure about a little less than one hour (.85 hours) for a skilled worker to replace glass in one window pane. That includes ordering of the glass pane, removal of the old glass, installation and glazing of the new glass. It does not include any repainting of the sash, or cleaning the window after it is installed. NOTE-- This labor quantity is too low if you are repairing just one window, but if you have a few it's about right. Material Costs Approximately 6 square feet of glass, plus some glazing compound and a reminder to bring some tools. Suggested Quantity No suggested quantity. Type in the number of window panes that need to be replaced. Source of Construction Pricing Based on crew timing and/or job costing data from many window repairs done by Turtle Creek Construction.
