Material Costs The cost includes 5.8 feet of 2x6 metal stud per foot of wall (based on 24" stud spacing), plus top and bottom tracks and fasteners. The stud quantity is adjusted for different stud spacings (from the Structural Dimensions screen) and ceiling heights (from the Basic Dimensions screen).
