Roofing estimating unit cost for installation of three-ply built up asphalt roofing.

Unit Size

One square (one hundred square feet).

Labor Costs

We figure about 4 1/2 hours of skilled labor to install one square of straight roofing.

NOTE-- There are additional unit costs for flashings, underlayment and drip edge. This price also does not include the cost for installing fall barriers or scaffolding.

Material Costs

The cost includes sufficient built up roofing materials to cover one square (100 square feet) of roof area, with an 8% waste factor.
