Adding Records in Clairvoyant Fields

Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 4.8, you can create new accounts without going to a separate window. This new feature saves a bit of time, and helps make data entry less confusing.

How to Use

If you are entering Material Purchases and bought something from a supplier that does not yet have an account, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Material Purchases from the Costs menu.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Click on the small triangle on the right side of the Supplier field.
  4. Choose Create a New Material Account from the bottom of the popup menu.
  5. You'll see a window where you can enter details for the new vendor account.
  6. Fill in the vendor name, and any other details that you want to store, then click OK.
  7. Fill in details for the purchase from the new vendor, then hit the Enter key to save the record.

NOTE-- You could already add new list items from clairvoyant fields, in Goldenseal accounting software versions 4.7 and earlier. But now you can create new accounts that way, too.
