Bids & Allowances in Project Phase

Problem

Bids and Allowances included in a Project Phase were not being updated to Awarded status, when the Phase's estimate was awarded.

User bug report.

Workaround

None.

Solution

This problem is fixed in version 4.1. To reset the correct status for any Bids and Allowances that weren't posted by previous versions of Goldenseal estimating software, follow these steps:

1. Choose Projects from the Accounts menu.
2. Locate the project that includes this phase and its bids/allowances.
3. Clear the Estimate field.
4. Hit the Enter key to save the record.
5. Enter the original Estimate back into the Estimate field.
6. Hit the Enter key to save the record.
