Job Cost Amount

Problem

If you change the amount in a Material Purchase, the Job Cost Amount field doesn't change immediately.

Workaround

When you leave the record and come back, the Job Cost Amount will be correct.

Solution

Fixed in the version 3.3 update for Goldenseal small business accounting software.

Technical Details

The Job Cost Amount field is calculated, so it uses the correct amount as soon as the record is saved. However, it is confusing to see the "wrong" number in the display, so we now update the display immediately when the amount changes.
