User Required Fields


In Goldenseal business software version 3.1, the problem occurs if the user turns on the Allow User-Required Fields option in Interface Prefs, and then sets up required fields. When they view previous records that have some locked fields, they may get "trapped" where they have to enter a value into a required field, but they can't.

About all you can do is force a quit, then go back and turn off the required field.


Starting with Goldenseal small business software version 3.2, you won't be required to enter values into a required field, if it is locked.
