Data Entry Number Formats

Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 3.2, you can eliminate the commas that divide thousands in money and number values. You might want to do that when space is tight, for printed tax forms that should not include commas, or for account numbers that don't look good with commas.

How to Use

To change the number format for a data entry field, follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Accounts or Transactions from the submenu.
2. Locate the layout you want to change.
3. Click on the field you want to change.
4. Choose Number Format from the Format menu.
5. Turn off the Thousand Dividers checkbox.
6. Click OK
