Cancelling Required Fields |
Problem If the user turns on the Allow User-Required Fields option in Interface Prefs, and then sets up required fields in an account, and then hits Cancel when saving a record that has missing required values, the Status field for the account turns blank. Caught By Turtle Creek testing. Workaround Change the Status back to Active or Inactive. Solution Fixed in Goldenseal accounting software version 3.2. Technical Details The required field confirmation dialog used some other
code which sets the record to Void status when you cancel.
That doesn't work very well for accounts. It now sets
them to Inactive status instead. |
