Posting Job Cost Income

Problem

The Job Costs command and job costing reports will sometimes show too much project income.

There was a posting problem in Goldenseal job cost accounting software version 3.1 and earlier, that resulted in the same project payments being posted more than once, if the deposit or billing record was changed after being saved the first time.

Several user bug reports.

Workaround

None.

Solution

Fixed in Goldenseal job cost accounting software version 3.2. We fixed the posting problem, and also changed the code that gets the income amount. Now it will skip any duplicates from previous incorrect postings.
