Demolition Unit Costs

In Goldenseal construction estimating software version 3.1, we have reclassified a few of the demolition unit costs in the Site Preparation category.

• Brick Wall Removal-- now in Structural Demolition, not Other Demolition.
• Stone Wall Removal-- now in Structural Demolition, not Other Demolition.
• Wood Shingle Removal-- now in Surfaces Demolition, not Other Demolition.

Technical Details

These demolition costs have been in Other Demolition ever since our first MacNail estimator in 1986, but we're doing a gradual tidying of the unit costs in Goldenseal construction estimating software, and it seemed a good time to move them to a more logical subcategory.
