Custom To Do List |
Feature Version 3.1 of the Goldenseal contact management software adds a custom To Do List. Suggested By Turtle Creek Software staff. We put feature requests in our regular To Do List, and we wanted a second list for general business to-do items. NOTE-- Yep, the request for a second To Do List sat in the Turtle Creek To Do List for several months before we got around to it. The first To Do List was jealous at first and kept "accidentally" changing the status to Void. But eventually it got used to the idea, and decided it would be fun to have a younger sibling to boss around. How to Use To edit the new To Do List, choose More Lists from the Costs menu, and choose it from the submenu. To rename the new To Do List, choose Preferences from the Options menu, and choose Interface from the submenu. You can give a different name to the list. You can use the custom To Do List exactly the same as the regular To Do List in Goldenseal business management software. For example, you might want to use one list for business tasks, and one for personal items. HINT-- To add fields to the new To Do List or change the layout appearance, choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, choose Transactions from the submenu, and then enter enter the custom To Do List into the Transaction popup field at upper left. Technical Details The new To Do List starts out exactly the same as the regular To Do List, but you can add custom fields so they'll store different information.
