Getting Deductions on Paychecks |
Problem How do you put deductions on paychecks in
Goldenseal payroll software? Diagnosis Have them go to File-- Print Forms, and check the forms that are available under Checking Transactions. If it shows Paycheck in the list, use that. Problem solved. If they don't see it, they must have an earlier version of our construction payroll software (we added paycheck deductions in late 2001 or version 1.07 approximately.) Encourage them to update to the latest (it was a free update), but if they need it now, the workaround is below. ANOTHER POSSIBILITY: They may have customized the paycheck form and deleted the tables. If so, have them revert the paycheck layout (Options--Custom Layout-- Printed Forms, go to the paycheck layout, choose Revert to Original from the File menu). Solution If EARLIER version: 1.
