Adding Columns

Problem

How to add a column to a worksheet in MacNail construction management software

Diagnosis

Can do, but the column must be added to the extreme right of the worksheet, after all existing columns, or the worksheet may be damaged.

NOTE-- You can also add rows to most worksheets in MacNail construction software.

Solution

The "Insert" command can be used to add a column, but it will insert a column BEFORE the last column. To insert one after (thanks to David K. for the tip):
1. Figure out the letter of the last column on the worksheet, e.g. P, Q, R. The column you want is the next one over (e.g. Q,R,S).
2. Choose Goto from the Formula menu (you may need to unprotect the doc first), and go to "q1", or whatever letter the next column over is.
3. Finally, go to Format\Column Width and click the Unhide button.

NOTE: Unhide button not available in xl 2.2 or earlier, and in some later Excel versions. Type in a number for column width instead (e.g. 5)
