Click Menu, opens a Command

Problem

User clicks on File menu to see selections for MacNail construction estimating software, but it automatically brings up the New File... dialog box!

Diagnosis

Windows has lousy menu management. If a menu is too large for the screen, it will just move it up- so when you click on the menu title, you're actually clicking on a command.

Solution

Instead of single-clicking on the menu title, hold the mouse down as you would on a Macintosh, and make the menu selection. Even better: buy a Mac.

NOTE-- This is less of a problem in newer Windows versions, probably because monitors are now larger.
