Site Preparation Cost Changes

ASSEMBLY CHANGEs

Starting with Goldenseal 3.2 we have made some minor improvements and changes to a few of the Assemblies in the Siteworks estimating cost category.

• We moved removal of shingles, brick walls and concrete to a different subcategory, and tweaked labor costs.
• We tweaked the labor quantities in a few of the tree and stump removal costs.
• We moved expansion tanks and pressure reducers from Project Utilities to the Rough Plumbing category

UPDATING OLDER VERSIONS

If you have Goldenseal 3.1 or earlier, you can import these Assembly changes into your company file.

To add the changes, first download the update file. Follow these steps:

1. Click this link-- Siteworks Cost Update.
2. Save the Sitework_Costs.txt file on your hard drive and remember where it is.

Next, import the data into your company file:

1. Open your company file.
2. Choose Import from the File menu, and choose **Other Update from the submenu.
3. Locate the Sitework_Costs.txt file that you just downloaded from the website.
4. Click OK.
5. Goldenseal will automatically change the assemblies.

**If you have an older version of Goldenseal, you may not see the Other Update command. In that case, use the Payroll Update command instead. It does exactly the same thing.
