Labor Hours per Trip

Starting with Goldenseal construction payroll software version 4.8, you can enter labor hours on a per-trip basis, if you use a "piecework" rate for travel by the trip rather than by the hour.

How to Use

To enter labor costs by the trip, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Labor Hours from the Costs menu.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Enter the employee name.
  4. Type in the number of trips that you are costing (or adding to wages).
  5. Click on the popup field next to Time Worked, and enter Trips as the time unit.
  6. Enter job cost information for the work.
  7. Click the Enter key to save the record.
  8. The trips expense will automatically be added to payroll, job costing, and time billing.
