Problem

You can use command-hyphen (Macintosh) or control-hyphen (Windows) to add today's date in any date or text field. In Goldenseal accounting software versions 4.7 and earlier, it would also add a date in clairvoyant fields, which does not make sense.

HINT-- You can also use command-semicolon or control-semicolon to add the current time.

Workaround

The date looks weird but will be removed when you leave the field.

Solution

Starting with version 4.8 of Goldenseal construction accounting software, you won't be able to enter dates or times into clairvoyant fields.
