Payroll Days Worked

PROBLEM

In a Labor Hours record using a Category or Items breakdown, changing the Days Worked amount will not adjust wage amounts in the breakdown table, if it changes whether the wages include overtime or not.

NOTE-- This problem does not occur if the days worked is correct, before you enter hours into the breakdowns. It's only a problem if you enter sufficient hours to kick in the overtime rate, and then want to change it back to standard time by entering more days into the Days Worked field.

Workaround

If you are using Goldenseal payroll software version 4.4 or earlier, re-enter the hours in the table, and it will calculate the correct wages.

Solution

This problem is fixed in version 4.5 of Goldenseal payroll software.
